What we process

Texts and transcripts you submit for assessment; your email address and account data if you create an account; payment data, which is handled solely by our payment provider; and technical data such as your IP address.

Purposes and legal bases

Assessing your texts is necessary to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Processing your IP address limits usage and prevents abuse, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Transfer to the United States

To assess your work we transfer the text you submit to Anthropic PBC, San Francisco, USA, acting as our processor, under a data processing agreement and the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Despite these safeguards, the United States does not offer a level of data protection equivalent to EU law, and authorities may under certain conditions access data. Please do not submit texts containing special categories of personal data.

Retention

Submitted texts are kept only as long as needed to show you your assessment. IP-based usage counters are deleted within one month. Account data is kept until you delete your account, subject to statutory retention periods.

No training use

Your texts are not used to train AI models and are not shared with third parties for advertising.

Cookies

We set no advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are served from our own server; no connection is made to Google Fonts.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. An email to us is enough to exercise any of these.

Complaints

You may complain to a data protection authority, in particular the Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Postfach 20 04 44, 40102 Düsseldorf, Germany.
